The City of Flagstaff, in collaboration with Eagle Mountain Construction and the Arizona Department of Transportation, has completed the installation of large concrete structures for the Milton Road pedestrian underpass. This development is part of the Beulah University Realignment Project. The construction will continue on both sides of the underpass during winter as conditions allow, focusing on access ramps and related structures.

On November 8, traffic control measures along Milton Road will be lifted. Both northbound and southbound lanes will reopen until spring 2025. Eastbound access to University Drive via Milton Road will also resume. However, it is important to note that traffic controls on Milton Road, University Avenue, and University Drive will return in spring 2025 for asphalt paving and concrete work needed to complete the project.

"The City and their contractors appreciate your understanding and patience as we work hard to finish this project." For more information about the project, visit www.beulahuniversityproject.com or contact a team member at (928) 255-5153.
