The City of Flagstaff, in collaboration with Eagle Mountain Construction and the Arizona Department of Transportation, is preparing to open a new extension of Beulah Boulevard. This development includes a roundabout that connects University Avenue, Yale Street, and Beulah Boulevard. The opening is scheduled for Friday, December 6.

This project also introduces new shared-use paths, crosswalks, and bus-only lanes. The bus-only lanes on a section of Beulah Boulevard are designated for Mountain Line buses exclusively. However, the pedestrian crosswalk along Beulah Boulevard will remain closed temporarily as final components are awaited. Pedestrians are advised to use the crosswalks at the roundabout to navigate across Beulah Boulevard.

Additionally, part of University Avenue between the newly constructed roundabout and Milton Road will stay closed while work continues on a pedestrian underpass. Drivers are encouraged to follow marked signage and adhere to speed limits during this period.
