The City of Flagstaff Water Conservation Program has been named the 2024 Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) WaterSense Partner of the Year. The announcement was made on Thursday, Sept. 26, at the WaterSmart Innovations Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

WaterSense and its over 2,000 partners—including utilities, manufacturers, retailers, builders, and other organizations—enable consumers and businesses to save water, energy, and money through water-efficient products, homes, and programs. Since its inception in 2006, WaterSense partners have contributed to saving 8.7 trillion gallons of water and reducing consumer utility bills by $207 billion.

The City of Flagstaff remains dedicated to assisting residents and community members in conserving water. For more information on improving water efficiency at home or in business settings, individuals can email savewater@flagstaffaz.gov.
