The City of Flagstaff, in collaboration with Eagle Mountain Construction and the Arizona Department of Transportation, has completed the installation of a portion of the large concrete structure for the new pedestrian underpass on the west side of Milton Road. With this phase finished, crews will now focus on installing the remaining portion of the concrete structure and related appurtenances on the east side of Milton Road.

Starting Monday, September 9, changes to traffic patterns will be implemented. The existing southbound detour along Milton Road will be removed, allowing both southbound and northbound lanes to reopen. However, eastbound access onto University Drive via Milton Road will be closed for approximately one month. Additionally, the new Beulah Boulevard extension and roundabout will be closed to all traffic to facilitate continued landscaping and striping operations.

A spokesperson stated, "We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work hard to finish this project."
