The City of Flagstaff is gearing up to host a drop-in event aimed at informing residents about the upcoming changes to City water bills. The event is scheduled to take place at the Flagstaff Aquaplex located at 1702 N Fourth St on Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Adults and children alike are encouraged to attend this informative session, which will also include complimentary pizza and a free day pass to the Aquaplex facility for all attendees.

The initiative stems from the City Council's recent decision, as highlighted by a statement which noted, "The City Council adopted a Notice of Intent to increase water, sewer, and reclaimed water rates or rates components, fees, or service charges by Resolution 2024-19 on April 16, 2023."

Residents who wish to gauge the potential impact of these changes on their water bills can utilize an online rate calculator available on the official website. By inputting specific details about their water usage, customers can obtain an estimate of their future bills. For additional details regarding the drop-in event, the rate calculator, or the water rate study, individuals are encouraged to visit cleanwaterflagstaff.com.
