Altice USA and Networx Cabling Systems have announced plans to work on installing new fiber-optic lines in the Southside neighborhood and West Flagstaff. The project is scheduled to commence on Monday, March 18, and is anticipated to conclude by Sunday, March 31. Work hours will primarily be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with additional intermittent closures at specific locations.
In areas where the work crosses Milton Road or W Route 66, intermittent closures will be implemented under an Arizona Department of Transportation permit. These closures will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for a maximum duration of 15 minutes at a time. During these closures, traffic will be directed by uniformed Department of Public Safety officers and flaggers to ensure smooth flow and safety.
Individuals with inquiries regarding the project are encouraged to reach out to Jason Quinlan, the Construction Operations Lead. Quinlan can be contacted via email at Jason.Quinlan@AlticeUSA.com or by phone at 928-202-6237.
This infrastructure development aims to enhance connectivity in the specified areas, although residents and commuters are advised to prepare for potential disruptions during the installation period.
