The City of Flagstaff invites the community to participate in the Earth Day Celebration on April 19, 2025, at Bushmaster Park. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring live music, workshops, local food, and various eco-friendly activities.

Participants can start the day with a community litter clean-up from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Volunteers are also needed for event setup, takedown, and other activities throughout the day. "Live musical performances include Cameron Jameson, bands Side Project and Deviled Eggs, and flutist Aaron White."

Several free workshops will be available: 'Bee' an Upcycler at 11:15 a.m., Rainwater Harvesting at 12 p.m., and DIY Home Energy Efficiency at 1:15 p.m. Attendees will have opportunities to engage with recycling practices, water conservation, and home energy efficiency methods. "The first 5 households will receive a free DIY Energy Efficiency Kit."

The event is accessible to all, with American Sign Language translators and wheelchair-accessible facilities provided. For more details or to volunteer, visit flagstaff.az.gov/1439/EarthDay. "For questions about this year’s event, please contact City of Flagstaff Sustainability Manager Steven Thompson at steven.thompson@flagstaffaz.gov or (928) 213-2144."
