Flagstaff announces closures for Presidents' Day

City Hall offices in Flagstaff will be closed on Monday, Feb. 17, to observe Presidents’ Day. They will reopen the following day, Tuesday, Feb. 18.

Several city facilities will also be closed for the holiday. These include the East Flagstaff Community Library located at 3000 N. Fourth St., the Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library at 300 W. Aspen Ave., Hal Jensen Recreation Center at 2403 N. Izabel St., Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center at 245 N. Thorpe Rd., and the Cinder Lake Landfill and Hazardous Products Center at 6770 E Landfill Rd.

The Jay Lively Ice Arena, situated at 1650 N. Turquoise, will remain open during this time with available programming listed on its monthly calendar. The Aquaplex, found at 1702 N. 4th Street, will operate from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Residential trash or recycling services scheduled for Monday, Feb. 17, are canceled but rescheduled for collection on Tuesday, Feb. 18 for trash and Wednesday, Feb. 19 for recycling pickup instead of their usual times.

Commercial trash or recycling services are similarly affected; they are suspended on Monday but normal operations resume on Tuesday.

Additionally, no bulk trash pickups are planned during the week of February 17.
