Starting February 19, the intersection of Milton Road and University Avenue, soon to be known as Fresquez Avenue, will be closed to all traffic. This closure is necessary for crews to install new storm drain and utility infrastructure. The closure is expected to last for one month.
Access to properties along University Avenue will be maintained via Yale Street and the newly extended Beulah Boulevard. Thru traffic on Milton Road will remain unaffected. Drivers are advised to follow marked signage and exercise caution.
The City has expressed gratitude for public understanding and patience during this project. Completion is anticipated by summer 2025.
