Flagstaff announces Thanksgiving closures for city offices and facilities

City administrative offices in Flagstaff will be closed on November 28 and 29, 2024, for the Thanksgiving holiday. These offices will resume operations on December 2, 2024. The schedule for other city facilities is as follows:

The Aquaplex at 1702 N Fourth St will close early at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, remain closed all day on Thursday, November 28, and reopen at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 29.

The Cinder Lake Landfill and Hazardous Products Center located at 6770 Landfill Rd will be closed all day on Thursday, November 28 but will operate under regular hours on Friday, November 29.

The East Flagstaff Community Library at 3000 N. Fourth St will close early at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27 and remain closed all day on both Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29.

Similarly, the Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library situated at 300 W. Aspen Ave. will close early at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27 and remain closed throughout Thursday and Friday.

The Hal Jensen Recreation Center located at 2403 N. Izabel St will also close early at the same time on Wednesday and stay closed through Thursday and Friday.

At the Jay Lively Activity Center located at 1650 N. Turquoise Dr., there will be no activities on Thursday; however, it will open with scheduled programming on Friday.

Finally, the Joe C Montoya Community & Senior Center found at 245 N. Thorpe Rd will follow the same pattern: closing early Wednesday afternoon and remaining shut for the entire duration of Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday.
