The City of Flagstaff and Coconino County have opened a 60-day public review period for the Flagstaff Regional Land Use Plan 2045. Community members are encouraged to read the draft, submit comments, and attend related events until December 19.

The plan provides guidance for policy decisions in Flagstaff and surrounding areas of Coconino County over the next decade. It addresses various topics relevant to future land-use and development decisions. The Regional Plan Committee, consisting of 25 citizens, endorsed the plan on September 30 after ten months of discussions.

Feedback from this review period will influence what is included on the November 2025 ballot for City residents to vote on. Community involvement is sought through several events: four workshops between November 13-18, weekly drop-in office hours every Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and an online webinar on December 4 at 6 p.m.

For more information or to submit comments, visit www.flagstaff.az.gov/regionalplan2045 or contact Sara Dechter at sdechter@flagstaffaz.gov or (928) 213-2631.
