These closures include the East Flagstaff Community Library, Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library, Hal Jensen Recreation Center, Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center, and the Hazardous Products Center. City Hall offices will resume normal operations on Tuesday, October 15.

The Aquaplex will remain open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the Jay Lively Activity Center will follow its regular programming schedule. Trash and recycling services will continue as usual, with the Cinder Lake Landfill operating on its regular schedule. The public recycling drop-off at the Flagstaff Recycling Transfer Facility will be accessible from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to these closures, an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration event is scheduled for October 14 at the Elks Lodge located at 2101 N San Francisco St. The event titled “Reflecting | Honoring | Resilience: Voices for Land and Community” is set to occur from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring presentations and cultural performances including songs and dances.
