The City, in collaboration with its contractor C & E Paving and Grading, will commence the reconstruction of Lucky Lane between Butler Avenue and Bronco Way as part of the annual Road Repair and Street Safety Program. The project is set to begin the week of September 23 and aims for completion by late November. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, sidewalk repairs and replacements, as well as curb replacement and installation.

The construction will be executed in three phases. During Phase 1 and Phase 2, business access will be maintained via Huntington Drive, Jay Street, or Bronco Way. In Phase 3, crews will strive to maintain driveway access on Lucky Lane; however, access may be intermittently restricted. Motorists are advised to adhere to marked signage and flagging directions to reach their destinations. Pedestrian and bicycle access will remain available throughout the construction period. Residents should expect loud noise and construction equipment within the work zone.

The annual Road Repair and Street Safety Program is financed by Flagstaff voters' approval of Proposition 406 in 2014, which established a $100 million, 20-year dedicated sales tax for road repair and street safety projects.
