The City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office has announced an upcoming Fix-It Clinic scheduled for Saturday, August 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Joe C. Montoya Community & Senior Center located at 245 N. Thorpe Rd.

Fix-It Clinics are community events designed to pair residents with knowledgeable volunteers who can assist in repairing small appliances, clothing, electronics, and other items. The event aims to promote hands-on sustainability and demonstrate how simple repairs can contribute to a more sustainable community.

In addition to general repair volunteers, the Sustainability Office is seeking individuals with sewing experience to participate as volunteers. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Steven Thompson, City of Flagstaff Sustainability Supervisor, at (928) 213-2144 or via email at steven.thompson@flagstaffaz.gov.
