The City of Flagstaff has announced the commencement of the City Hall Stair Replacement Project, aimed at enhancing safety and accessibility for all visitors to City Hall. Scheduled to begin on May 6 and conclude by May 31, 2024, the project will involve the replacement of concrete steps and the installation of new railings at the north entrance of City Hall.
As part of the project, the City has stated, "The project will replace the concrete steps and install new railings in front of the north entrance of City Hall." Additionally, it has been confirmed that "During construction, the steps leading to the north entrance of City Hall will be closed."
While the north entrance steps will be closed during the construction period, alternative access points will be available. The ramp to the east of the steps will remain open, providing uninterrupted access to the main front doors. Furthermore, visitors can utilize the west and east side entrances near Route 66 to enter City Hall.
The City of Flagstaff emphasizes its commitment to enhancing infrastructure within the city and ensuring that residents are kept informed about ongoing projects.
