The Solid Waste Equipment Operator in Peoria’s Public Works Department will operate heavy equipment in the completion of assigned tasks such as excavating, trenching, street cleaning, and delivering refuse and recycling materials to the landfill. The various types of solid waste equipment will include front load, side load, rear load, and roll-off collection vehicles.
Salary: $19.88 - $28.75/hour
