Flagstaff announces closures for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

City Hall administrative offices in Flagstaff, located at 211 W. Aspen Ave., will not be open on Monday, January 20, due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The offices will resume regular operations on Tuesday, January 21.

Several other city facilities will also be closed on January 20. These include the East Flagstaff Community Library at 3000 N. Fourth St., the Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library at 300 W. Aspen Ave., the Hal Jensen Recreation Area at 2403 N. Izabel St., the Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center at 245 N. Thorpe Rd., and the Cinder Lake Landfill and Hazardous Products Center at 6770 E Landfill Rd.

The Jay Lively Ice Arena, located at 1650 N. Turquoise, will remain open with its usual schedule. The Aquaplex, situated at 1702 N. 4th Street, will operate from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Trash and recycling collection services scheduled for Monday, January 20, will be delayed by one day for both residential and commercial customers due to the holiday observance. Services typically conducted on Monday will instead take place on Tuesday.
