Gary Alpert “The Fly Guy” teaches the wonders of flight in this hands-on workshop for children ages 6 to 12 years old. Kids will make hot air balloons and learn about the forces that affect things that fly: thrust, drag, lift, and gravity. Seating is limited to the first 20 children. The Fly Guy will be at Sunrise Mountain Library, 21109 N. 98th Avenue, Saturday, January 20, 11 am to noon, and at the Peoria Main Library, 8463 W. Monroe Street, 3 to 4 pm.
