The annual G.A.I.N. Public Safety night will be this Saturday, Oct. 7 from 5-8 p.m. at Pioneer Community Park, located at 8755 N. 83rd Ave. Peoria’s Police and Fire-Medical Departments bring together family fun and safety education in one place. Kids of all ages will enjoy the chance to get an up-close look at police cars, fire trucks, specialty emergency vehicles and equipment. There will also be free bouncy activities, face painting and even more kid friendly activities, making this a great night for the whole family. This event is free to all members of the community.
