The Peoria Public Library system is proud to announce the story writing contest for the City of Peoria StoryWalk. Kids ages 6-8, 9-10 and 11-12 can submit an original picture book to the library for a chance to see it featured at all three StoryWalks. StoryWalk is an innovative way for children to read and play outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children's book are attached to metal stands along a walking path at all three Peoria Community Parks. As individuals stroll down the path, they are directed to the next page in the story and to do a related activity.
