The City of Flagstaff and its contractor, Eagle Mountain Construction, invite you to attend a community open house meeting for the Beulah/University Realignment Project. The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 2, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Flagstaff City Hall Lobby and Council Chambers located at 211 West Aspen Avenue. The open house meeting will provide an opportunity for community members and business owners to view design plans, ask questions and learn more about the upcoming improvements project. Please note that there will be no formal presentation; residents are welcome to drop by at any time during the meeting.
The project, slated to begin in early April of 2023, consists of extending present-day Beulah Boulevard northward to present-day University Avenue, with a roundabout constructed at the new intersection. Present-day University Avenue will then be realigned, east of the new roundabout, to match up with University Drive, east of Milton Road. Additionally, this project will construct a pedestrian underpass just north of the Milton Road/University Drive intersection (between Burger King and Target). Finally, this project will include storm water infrastructure improvements and sewer and water pipe-upsizing throughout the project corridor.
