In collaboration with the Pipeline and Haywire Fire Incident Management Team, the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office has placed all remaining private lands and neighborhoods that were in “SET” status back into “READY” status. The ongoing efforts put forth by fire personnel as well as the favorable weather we have experienced in the last few days have reduced the risk in the areas affected by the Pipeline and Haywire Fires.
It is important to note that the Coconino National Forest in the area of the fires, including the Cinder Lakes OHV Area, will remained closed due to a temporary closure order from the US Forest Service. For exact location of this temporary closure order and its established boundaries please contact the US Forest Service and/or visit the official Coconino National Forest website; https://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/coconino/alerts-notices/?aid=72340&fbclid=IwAR03Z_J6t9IYg_J4z_SMSqEly5onbVceEB2l4L6WcOGTNMSI8rLcaVxAfXI
