Coconino County attended Arizona Forward’s Environmental Excellence Awards Gala this evening as award nominees and was honored to have won The Governor’s Award for Arizona’s Future and The President’s Award for our Flood Control District’s Forest Restoration Initiative.
The President’s Award, a prestigious honor, is selected from among all other award nominees across all categories.
The County was also a semi-finalist for an award for Buildings and Structures, Commercial or Institutional for our County Medical Examiner’s Facility.
