Flagstaff Police Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 17.
Hello Flagstaff! There have been numerous complaints about pet owners using city ball fields and tennis courts as dog parks.
You’ll notice that there are new signs up prohibiting this type of activity. Police Officers and Animal Control will be issuing citations for violations. Please use a leash or the designated dog parks and remember to clean up after your pets.
