Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) is changing weekend sites and meal availability for its "Grab and Go" Food Service program starting on April 20.
On Fridays, students will be able to take home extra meals to eat over the weekend and food service will be limited to three times a week, according to the Arizona Daily Sun. Food service will continue on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Mondays, students will also be able to pick up meals for Tuesday and on Wednesday they can grab meals for Thursday, Arizona Daily Sun reports.
Additional mobile routes will also be added for the Knoles and Sinagua areas, according to the Arizona Daily Sun, but the Coconino High School site will be closed.
FUSD will make meals available to any child that is 18 years old or under, according to the Arizona Daily Sun.
Meals are available on the select days from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Cromer Elementary, DeMiguel Elementary, Killip Elementary, Kinsey Elementary, Leupp Elementary, Marshall Elementary and Thomas Elementary.
