The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has recognized the City of Flagstaff's Rio de Flag Water Reclamation Facility with a Bronze Level award in its Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program. This level acknowledges organizations that show strong environmental compliance and exceed legal requirements to protect human and environmental health.

To qualify for this recognition, facilities must have no violations on record with any environmental regulatory agency for the past three years.

For more details about the ADEQ Voluntary Environmental Stewardship Program, visit azdeq.gov/VESP. Information regarding the City of Flagstaff’s water reclamation facilities is available at flagstaff.az.gov/waterservices.
