Student-athletes, coaches, and staff gathered to recognize academic achievements at the Northern Arizona Athletic Department's 46th annual Golden Eagle Awards. The event highlighted the accomplishments of Emily Rodabaugh from women's basketball and Drew Bosley and Nico Young from cross country, track, and field. These athletes received top honors as the department's leading scholar-athletes among 228 honorees across 15 sports.

The Golden Eagle Awards began in 1979 to honor student-athletes excelling academically while contributing significantly to athletics. Eligibility requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00.

Emily Rodabaugh, completing her fifth year with NAU women's basketball, maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA while pursuing a Master's in leadership in criminal justice administration. She is recognized as a four-time Golden Eagle Scholar and five-time Big Sky All-Academic team member. Athletically, she earned an honorable mention All-Big Sky nod this season and ranks sixth on NAU's all-time scoring list.

Drew Bosley, with a perfect 4.0 GPA in his Master's degree in educational foundations, is a five-time Golden Eagle Scholar-Athlete. He set records in the 3K at the John Thomas Terrier Classic and was Big Sky champion in both the 3K and 5K during the indoor season.

Nico Young holds a 3.9 GPA as a health science major. His athletic year included setting collegiate records in indoor track events and becoming a two-time national champion at the NCAA National Championships.
