19 professional licenses were issued in cities across Coconino County in Q1 2022

There were 19 professional licenses issued in cities across Coconino County in the first quarter of 2022, according to the State of Arizona.

This was 19 percent more than the quarter before, when 16 professional licenses issued.

Flagstaff had the most professional licenses issued among cities within Coconino County.

More than 99 percent of Arizona's businesses are considered small with more than 40 percent of Arizona employees working for a small business, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration.

A study by Civic Economics found $100 spent at a locally-owned business, puts $47 back into the local economy while the total is just $13 for non-local businesses.
