Coconino County Offices Closed Monday in Observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday

Coconino County’s Administrative Center, the County Manager, Attorney, Assessor, Recorder, and Treasurer’s Offices will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2023 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) offices and clinics will also be closed. The CCHHS Animal Management office will have an officer available on Monday, January 16 from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Contact the CCHHS Animal Management office at 928-679-8756 to leave a message and an officer will return the call. Call 911 for emergencies. 

Parks and Recreation administration offices will also be closed; however, County parks and natural areas are open for the public to enjoy. Please observe all posted road and trail closure notices. For approved snow play areas, please refer to this map. 

The Flagstaff Police and Coconino County Sheriff’s Records Division will be open with limited staff from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CCSO would like to remind all residents and visitors of amendments to the County’s seasonal parking ordinance regarding parking on county roads and rights of way and wish everyone a safe and enjoyable weekend. Hazardous winter weather conditions are also expected from Saturday evening though at least Tuesday. Coconino County Public Works plow crews are preparing their equipment and vehicles and will be on-call 24/7 through the holiday weekend.
