Explore the work of great artists with us on the 1st Tuesday of every month. This month's artist is Picasso!
Picasso, born in 1881, was perfectly positioned to help change the ideas about what art was and to influence what the new art would become. His unconventional lifestyle was accepted because of his transforming contributions. Enormously productive throughout his 91 years, he was active his whole life. You may be inspired by his original creations or prefer more conventional art forms but there is no doubt that he was a major contributor to new styles of art that are widespread today.
