Learn about local geological features, flora and fauna from the trail! Join library staff on a 2.5 mile hike with interesting local history, springs and maybe even some mushroom hunting!
What you'll need:
Transportation to and from the trailhead. Water, snacks, sun protection, shoes for hiking, and a bag for possible fungi finds.
How to get there:
Take 180 to Snowbowl Road, turn right and drive ~1 mile. Just before the road curves to the right there is a small parking area directly in front of you. We'll be there!
Event will be canceled if the forest is closed to public access.
