Join Natural Restorations for a Munds Parks OHV Trail Cleanup on the Coconino National Forest! Join us for a morning of stewardship & fun! Everyone will be in their own vehicles & OHV's exploring the trails, having a great time, & picking up trash along the way. Volunteers do not need 4-wheel drive, just a vehicle that can drive down forest roads. Everyone is welcome, including youth volunteers when they are accompanied & supervised by a parent, guardian, or adult group leader. We would be happy to sign off on service hours or provide a Confirmation of Volunteer Service letter for youth volunteers. Once the safety briefing and group photo are done, everyone is going to hit the trails. Everyone will meet back at the staging area at 1pm for a free raffle. Everyone will receive a free raffle ticket at sign-in. The raffle will be quick so that everyone can get out of the heat. We will have a designated dumspter at the staging area for everyone to put their trash in so we can get an accurate weight of the amount of trash. What to wear: It's going to be warm! Check the forecast before you head out so you can be prepared & dress accordingly. Please wear comfortable clothing & shoes that can get dirty. Wear thick-sole & closed toe sturdy shoes for safety (no flipflops/sandals). Wear a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. What to bring: please bring a reusable water bottle or hydration backpack. We will have coolers with water & ice for you to refill. You will be in your vehicle so you can easily bring a cooler with cold beverages, snacks, lunch etc. We will provide gloves, bags, trash grabbers, & the dumspter. If you would prefer to use a bucket, you're welcome to bring a bucket for trash but you will need to empty it at the designated dumspter each time it's full.
