Lifelong Learning Celebration & Yearbook Day on May 20, 2022

It's graduation season in Flagstaff! Celebrate learning & growing for life with crafts, activities, and community learning resources for all ages at the Flagstaff Public Library Community Room all day on Friday, May 20th!

A schedule of events is below:

 9AM to 4PM - Yearbook Day

Explore our vast collection of local school yearbooks from the Arizona Reference section dating back to 1928! Find yourself or a relative and sign or share a memory in our Library Yearbook.

The library is also looking for yearbooks from Northern Arizona schools that are missing from our collection as part of a Yearbook Drive. Visit or call the Downtown Reference Desk at (928) 213-2331 for a full list of missing Yearbooks, then drop off in the Community Room on May 20!

 9AM to 4PM - Congrats Grad Card-Making

Drop in to create a one-of-a-kind card for the graduate in your life! Supplies provided by the library.

 1PM to 4PM - Lifelong Learning Expo

Learn about community learning resources from across Northern Arizona and take part in crafts and activities. Featured services include The Literacy Center, Coconino Community College Community Education, Arizona Department of Education Adult Education Services, and more!

 3:30PM to 4:30PM - Grad Cap Decorating for Teens

Stop by the Teen Zone with your graduation cap and make it your own with supplies provided by the library!

 5PM to 6PM - Literacy & Community Through Lifelong Learning: A Presentation

Join us for a talk from Debbie Goldenstein, Adult Education Lead Instructor at Coconino Community College. We will discuss adult and lifelong learning, its impact on learners and the community, and how you can support adult learning in Northern Arizona and beyond.
