City of Flagstaff issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.

Flagstaff city administrative functions will be closed on Dec. 24, 2021 and Dec. 31, 2021 for the Christmas and New Year holidays. Closures and reopening schedules for other City facilities and services are listed below. 

Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library and East Flagstaff Community Library

• 12/24/21 - 12/26/21 – Closed
• 12/31/21 - 1/1/22 – Closed
• Curbside hold pickup, phone reference services and computer reservations will resume on 12/27/21 and 1/3/22 after each holiday.

Jay Lively Activity Center

• 12/24/21 - 12/25/21 - Closed
• 12/26/21 – Resuming regular rentals
• 12/31/21 – Regular programming
• 1/1/22 – Limited programming

Flagstaff Aquaplex

• 12/23/21 – Reduced hours with closing at 4 p.m.
• 12/24/21 - 12/25/21 – Closed
• 12/31/21 – Reduced hours with closing at 4 p.m.
• 1/1/22 – Closed

Hal Jensen Recreation Center

• 12/23/21 – Reduced hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• 12/24/21 & 12/25/21 – Closed
• 12/30/21 - Reduced hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• 12/31/21 - 1/1/22 – Closed

Joe C Montoya Community and Senior Center

• 12/24/21 - 12/25/21 – Closed
• 12/31/21 - 1/1/22 – Closed

Cinder Lake Landfill

• 12/24/21 – Reduced hours with closing at noon. 
• 12/25/21 – Closed
• 12/31/21 – Reduced hours with closing at noon.
• 1/1/22 - Closed
• All city residential trash and recycling pick-ups, which would normally occur on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day will be serviced on the following day.
