Key

City of Surprise issued the following announcement on July 30.

The city’s Human Service and Community Vitality department reminds Surprise and El Mirage residents that rent, eviction prevention and utility assistance programs are available for income eligible applicants at the Surprise Resource Center, 12425 W. Bell Road #124.

Through partnerships with multiple community-based organizations and government agencies, the Surprise Resource Center is able to provide veteran, disability and social services such as rent, employment and healthcare assistance, as well as food and nutrition resources.

Specifically, the Community Action Program (CAP) provides limited temporary assistance with utility and eviction prevention for qualifying Surprise and El Mirage residents thanks to partnerships between Maricopa County, Surprise and El Mirage.
