Peoria Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 9.
Congratulations to our member Peoria Unified School District for being recognized with multiple awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) in the 2021 National School Communications Awards contest.
The awards include three Golden Achievement Awards, of which only 84 were given out nationally. These awards recognize exemplary work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing and engagement. Peoria Unified received the Golden Achievement Awards for the district’s I Got My Shot, Be the Difference and One Busy Ballot campaigns. The district also received a Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards for their #ReturnToSchool Plan and an Honorable Mention for the district.
