Maine Consolidated School District Education: 137 Students were enrolled in 2022-23 school year

There were 137 students enrolled in Maine Consolidated School District in the 2022-23 school year, 10.5% more than the 124 in the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 54.7% of them were girls, and 45.3% were boys.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 80.3% of the Maine Consolidated School District total enrollment.

Maine Consolidated School District roughly covers schools within Coconino County and has a main office in Parks.

In 2022 Arizona had roughly one teacher for every 19 students, compared to the national average of one teacher for 16 students. Teachers handling a higher number of students was found to have negative consequences for students’ school performance.

WalletHub claimed Arizona’s school system ranked among the worst across U.S. for class size, performance, funding, safety, and instructors’ credentials.
