Did you know our bodies and the bodies of all living things are made of building blocks called cells?
Have you ever wondered why you look similar or different to your friends and family?
How can we keep ourselves safe from germs?
Local scientists will be at the library to engage children in age-appropriate (ages 3–10), hands-on activities to introduce them to the worlds of cellular, molecular, and pathogen biology. Activities will include drawing/modeling cells, a game to match DNA "sequences" to traits found in your household pet (or other animal!), and building models of pathogens (germs).
