Page Unified School District issued the following announcement on Oct. 7.
The Page Middle School Panthers football team improved their season record to 6-0 after defeating Hopi Junior High School 42-6 in a playoff game Wednesday. The six points scored by Hopi was the only points scored against the Panthers this year.
Wednesday's win qualifies the Panthers to play in the championship game this Saturday, where they will face the Kayenta Colts.
Saturday's championship game will be played on the Page High School football field.
Game time is still being worked out, but we'll let you know when we know.
