Public Input Period Extended for Governing School Board Member Open Seat at Fredonia Moccasin

Coconino County issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.

Coconino County Superintendent of Schools, Cheryl Mango-Paget, recently announced that interviews will be scheduled for the Governing School Board Member open seat at Fredonia Moccasin Unified School District #6.

Coconino County Superintendent of Schools, Cheryl Mango-Paget, recently announced that interviews will be scheduled for the Governing School Board Member open seat at Fredonia Moccasin Unified School District #6. A name correction is being issued for one candidate. The previous release identified Ryan Christensen, however, the candidate’s name is Raymond Christensen. To ensure equity, the public input period has been extended.

An advisory committee will be assembled consisting of a district resident, district educator, district parent, and two current board members to conduct interviews and advise Superintendent Mango-Paget on the appointment.

The Superintendent is also seeking public input regarding the appointment of the Governing Board Member open seat at Fredonia Moccasin Unified School District #6. Please contact the Superintendent with input (comments) at: cmango-paget@coconino.az.gov which began on October 2, 2021 and now runs through October 14, 2021. 

Candidates seeking appointment are:

  1. Diane Bundy
  2. Raymond Christensen
  3. Michelle Cluff
  4. Sonya Kimball
The appointment should be announced on or prior to October 30, 2021 and will be valid through December 31, 2022.
