Merissa Hamilton, Chairwoman of Arizona Strong Communitie's Action, took to the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, to ask those who are registered as independent to switch to Republican and give their vote to former president Trump. The request comes after former candidate for Arizona governor Kari Lake visited the Iowa State Fair last week to campaign for Trump and slam "woke" ideology.
