Tom Gebler, a Design Associate with Floor Coverings International, announced on April 20 the launch of a free educational workshop series aimed at helping homeowners and do-it-yourself enthusiasts make informed decisions about flooring and renovation projects.

The new workshops are intended to provide practical guidance to people planning renovations or purchasing new flooring. The sessions will offer demonstrations, product showcases, and expert advice on evaluating durability, comparing materials, understanding installation requirements, and avoiding common mistakes that could lead to costly repairs.

Gebler is recognized nationally for his expertise in architectural and interior design. With over 30 years of experience in the field and more than 16 years at Floor Coverings International, he is the longest-serving Design Associate among more than 300 company locations nationwide. He is also considered one of the top three overall producers in the country. “Many homeowners make decisions based on marketing claims or incomplete information,” said Gebler. “My goal is to educate people so they understand exactly what they’re buying and what to expect. There are critical details in warranties, installation requirements, and product performance that can make a huge difference.”

Each session will include demonstrations of current flooring products as well as explanations about common myths regarding materials. Attendees will receive detailed information about warranties and installation procedures that are often overlooked by buyers. Gebler will also answer questions from participants during each event.

The Greater Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce promotes business expansion and community building through advocacy efforts and events; it delivers educational programs like these workshops along with networking opportunities for local employers according to the official website. The chamber supports economic development throughout Flagstaff communities by preparing the workforce, hosting events such as this one at Floor Coverings International’s showroom location at 1 South Milton Rd., Flagstaff AZ 86001 (as reported by their official website).

The workshops are held twice monthly at no cost but space may be limited; early registration via Eventbrite is encouraged.
