Northern Arizona University has announced a change in leadership for its football program. Mike Marlow, the Director of Athletics, stated on Monday that the contract for head football coach Chris Ball will not be renewed.
During his tenure with the Lumberjacks, Ball achieved an overall record of 20 wins and 30 losses over five seasons.
The university will commence a national search for a new head football coach immediately. Athletic officials have decided not to provide additional comments regarding the coaching search until it is finalized.
