A total of 41 student-athletes from Northern Arizona University (NAU) have been named to the Winter Big Sky Conference All-Academic team. This announcement was made by the league on May 31, 2023. The honorees come from NAU's men's and women's indoor track and field teams as well as men's and women's basketball teams.

To qualify for this recognition, student-athletes must meet specific criteria: participation in at least half of their team's competitions, a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, and completion of at least one academic term at their current Big Sky institution. For those in indoor track and field, they also needed to compete in at least half of the team's events or participate in the conference championship.

The women's indoor track and field team led with 17 selections, followed by the men's team with 13. Women's basketball had six representatives, while men's basketball had five.

Among the 41 athletes recognized, 34 maintained a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, with fifteen achieving a perfect GPA of 4.00.

Across four sports, the Big Sky Conference saw a total of 496 selections, with NAU ranking seventh in terms of representatives.

Both NAU's men's and women's indoor track and field teams achieved success on the field by being crowned Big Sky Champions. The basketball teams also advanced to the Big Sky Championship game. Notably, the women's basketball team shared the regular season title and made its first-ever appearance in the WNIT tournament.
