The City of Peoria has announced that it is seeking to hire a Venue Ambassador in the Parks & Recreation Department. The primary role of this position will be to provide patron assistance at the Peoria Sports Complex during Spring Training and various events throughout the year.

The Venue Ambassador will be responsible for enforcing and implementing Sports Complex and city policies and procedures to ensure the safety of co-workers, spectators, patrons, and team personnel. They will also be tasked with monitoring and greeting spectators as they enter and exit the Sports Complex. In addition, the Venue Ambassador will perform facility and area inspections and carry out facility lockdown procedures when necessary.

Furthermore, the Venue Ambassador will assist with minor maintenance activities, such as trash pickup, to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the Sports Complex. The City of Peoria is dedicated to providing a pleasant and enjoyable experience for all visitors, and the Venue Ambassador will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.
