Peoria Arts is offering a unique opportunity for music enthusiasts to embark on a free international excursion through their Global Sounds concert series. The Global Sounds concert series will feature six exciting performances, each highlighting a different cultural and musical perspective. These concerts will take place at the Gyder Theater, located at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts on 10580 N. 83rd Drive. The first concert is scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, starting at 7 pm.
The inaugural concert of the series will showcase the incredible talent of Giovanni Kiyingi & Friends. Hailing from Uganda, Giovanni Kiyingi is known for his captivating performances that fuse traditional Ugandan folk music with Afrobeat influences.
