Theaterworks is offering an adult workshop teaching the basics of unarmed stage combat at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts, 10580 N. 83rd Drive. Participants will learn falls, punches, slaps and physical movements that are popular in most theatre performances. The instructor is a certified professional in multiple combat techniques. Classes are offered on Wednesday, December 27 and Thursday, December 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. There will also be a semester-long stage combat class offered in the spring.
