City declares State of Emergency for 2022 Post Pipeline Fire Flooding Response

Flagstaff’s Mayor Paul Deasy declared a State of Emergency on behalf of the City of Flagstaff due to the impacts of monsoonal flooding in areas impacted by post-Pipeline Fire flooding that started on July 16, 2022. Declaring a State of Emergency makes the City eligible for additional resources to support disaster response, such as disaster grant assistance for costs associated with public infrastructure damage, including debris removal, emergency protective measures, and the restoration of disaster-damaged, publicly owned facilities.
