City of Flagstaff issued the following annoucement on Jan. 12.
During the January 11 Council meeting, the City Council approved the City of Flagstaff’s Re-entry Team recommendation to remain in Phase 3 of the City’s Re-entry Plan, with site-specific adjustments made to the Aquaplex pool, City libraries and the Jay Lively Activity Center/ Ice Arena. The Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center will be closed temporarily. All other City operations remain unchanged.
Site-specific immediate adjustments include:
- The capacity limit at the Aquaplex pool during Recreational Swim will be lowered from 50 to 30. All one-on-one swim lessons will be cancelled. Aquaplex hours remain Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aquaplex is closed on Sunday.
- Visitors to the Jay Lively Activity Center are required to wear a mask at all times, including while on the ice and during games.
- Patrons to the Jay Lively Activity Center are required to wear a mask at all times while inside the facility. While on the ice in any capacity and during practices and games, either a mask or bubble helmet will be required. Jay Lively hours vary daily based on user group rentals.
- Library computer sessions will be limited to one hour. The Downtown Library remains open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Eastside Library is open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Members of the public and City Staff are required to wear a mask at all times while in City facilities. Those without a mask will be offered one so that they can continue to conduct their business. Masks will be available for use in City facilities as long as supplies last but are not available for general public distribution. Those that refuse to wear a mask inside City facilities will be asked to leave and encouraged to reach out to City Staff by email or phone.
