City of Flagstaff issued the following announcement on Jan. 7.
Due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 Omicron variant, the Flagstaff City Council has decided that the January 11, 18 and 25 City Council meetings will be held virtually with no in-person attendance at City Hall or Council Chambers. Members of the public may also give verbal public comment during the meetings using the link posted on the agenda. Agendas can be viewed at http://cityweb.flagstaffaz.gov/agendaquick/agenda_publish.cfm.
Alternatively, written public comments can be submitted to publiccomment@flagstaffaz.gov and will be documented in the official record as such.
Members of the public may also email the Mayor and Council at council@flagstaffaz.gov.
If members of the public have questions about Council meeting participation, they may contact the City Clerk’s office at 928-213-2076.
During the January 25 Council meeting, the City Council will reevaluate the format of City Council meetings and further information will be shared with the public at that time.
